Brasil Plant Bolt Action Pen

Turned this pen today after finally finding time to relax (Turning Wood relaxes me).
This comes from a local shrub plant called Brasil Plant and is native in the deep coastal bend area and Deep south Texas.

The wood is very hard, the consistantcy of Walnut and Probably ebony.

Very nice, never heard of that wood. Will have to add that to my list of woods to try!
