Years ago our fair little town got on a beautification project & planted Bradford Pears trees anywhere there was a hole or space to put them in!
The blooms & foliage are impressive but the left over seed pods can be a nuisance! I picked up a small sackful of the hulls last fall & finally got a "round tuit" and cast some of them for a pen blank...I got some kind of epoxy from HL that was not Alumilite and it did not polish as well as I would have liked but it is ok...:wink:
