This has been giving me trouble all day long. I don't think I have ever broke a pen so many times. Not to mention ruining the finish on cap and barrel. I made it from box elder and alumalite. I used a number 5 bock nib. 12 mm triple start for cap and finial to post it on. The cap finial is box elder(not fun threading). I included a pic of my last Kitless and a jr statesman for comparison. Comments and critiques are welcome and thanks for looking.

Nice! Have you tried stabilizing the box elder first? I have done some with Cactus Juice in regular, crosscut, spalted etc, and they soak up quite a bit of resin and work much better. Haven't tried threading any though.

Holy Cow! That's an amazing pen! And when I scrolled down to the segmented pen, is just stared at it for a few minutes... It was hard to keep from drooling! Incredible workmanship on all 3!
