This is a special order for two historic pens and seven others made using red-dyed/stabilized Box Elder burl on full size Statesmans.
The two historic pens are made using Teak from USS North Carolina and Oak from HMS Victory, both of these are Stateman Jr.
Finish is CA.
I stabilized/Dyed the Box Elder myself. The block of wood is what I started with before cutting for the best burl/figure, then drying and dyeing/stabilizing. I just finished them all today; now they're off to the engravers.
