Pen looks real nice. The top near the clip is out of focus. Maybe try to get more depth of field. Light looks pretty good. Watch that your background doesn't distract from the featured object. Good start with the new camera.

Forget the pen, I want to see a pic of the camera! I'm trying to talk my office into buying a Nikon D40. It's 'cheap' and it'll be my first experience with a digital SLR.
Oh, and nice pen, good figure on that wood. Not real fond of the copper kit, don't know that I've ever seen a pen use it that I was crazy over.

Here ya go. You can download a freeware version of a photoshop program called GIMP. Haven't used it in many... many.... many years. I'm using both CorelPaint and Adobe Photoshop, but I've heard it's still free and still great.
