BOW Pens

A couple of BOW pens that I made recently. One is a black crome Patriot pen that I made for a gentleman in the US Coast Guard. It has his name, rank and the name of the cutter he is assigned to engraved on it. I hope he enjoys it. The other one is a satin nickel cigar that I made for a Preacher. It also has his name engraved on it.

Nice pens and good photography too. What is the background? It almost looks like a car wash mitt. It gives a nice texture but doesn't interfere with the pen. I like it.

Very nice pens. Is the cross at the top of the Patriot in the grain?

Thanks for the comment, they are greatly appreciated. The finish is 3 coats of CA and then beall buffed. They are resting on a piece of brown mallee that I haven't decided on what to do with. They both have a cross burned into them using a woodburning tool. Again, thanks for the comments.
