BOW Fountain Pen

This is another nice piece of Bethlehem Olive wood. I got this as part of a 4 pack from PSI. This is a pen I made at a lower cost than normal for my wife's friend. His mom bought it for his upcoming birthday. The guy lives in Hawaii and served in Iraq for 1 tours of duty as a chaplain's assistant. This is a 24k gold plated fountain pen from PSI called the tycoon which is the same as the navigator from Woodcraft. I did 2 coats thin ca and 5-6 medium ca on both sections. I then did wet MM starting out at 1200 grit up to 12000 grit. Thanks for looking and any comments are welcomed.

Very, very beautiful. That is my second favorite wood after Amboyna Burl!

Thanks for all the good comments. Yeah I didn't start turning until end of April beginning of May. I can see how I have progressed. The big turning point was getting CA to work for me. :biggrin:

I just started with CA today and its tricky but once you get the hang of it, it's unreal. Also, you can hide mistakes....
