Here is a dip pen I made from a wedge shape piece of BOW I got in a
trade with Bill(ilikewood), thanks Bill.
Now I know how he got his name. I like everything I got :D

Simple instructions for making this are in "penturning"

Thanks RT, I really am not into dip pens that much for myself. But I had to try and make one. I have an order coming up for some in my resins, so I thought I would try it.

I think my next one for me, I am going to drill it wider to except a converter and put a Baron nib on it. I just don't like double dipping.

Mik, look on Ebay, there are allways a ton of steel calligraphy nibs on there. Allot of them in your surrounding area, mostly from Germany & Britan, so shipping shouldn't kill you.

Gary, glad you figured that out on your own. LOL Also glad somebody invented a new writing pen!
If not, we would all be making tables, chairs and bowls.

Oh for the record, the inventor of the fountain pen, was Mr. Waterman, he was an insurance salesman, Believe it of not....
