BOW with Cross

I did this one for an Aunt of mine that is following the path of ministery. BOW with a Bloodwood cross.

I can't believe how tight the bottom of the cross fits into the bow. Great job. Some day, I'm going to do one with Jerusalem Olivewood and bloodwood, with Kingwood in there somewhere. I can't remember who's idea that was, but it wasn't mine. I am getting some JOW in from a guy in Israel soon (I hope). I got some samples and they are quite nice. I just love the symbolism, as a gentle reminder of why we are here and whom we will meet face to face some day.

Woodscavenger and Tom: I used a router table for the cross. I wimped out and the cross member is done on the TS. I am in the process of making a jig to do the whole cross on the router. This will allow me to make any size cross.
