Bourbon Barrel Stave

I bought a barrel stave at the A. Smith Bowman distillery and turned it into a Jr Gent II fountain pen. I did a label casting of a small batch bourbon bottle photo for the cap and a custom finial. I left the finial unfinished hoping that it would have the whiskey smell. It does but is very faint. I also lost more of the charred area than I was aiming for.

Allow a drop or two of the bourbon to soak into the finial every now and then ...

This is a great combination! The upper barrel with a picture of the bottle, and the lower from a stave.
