Boring ol' Bocote

Again, this is a case of the photos doing NOTHING for the wood: The grain in this hunk of Bocote is amazing.... I wish I could do it justice.

Anyways, I had a whole boatload of Euro kits hanging around and decided to rip one off. The Bocote needed some CA fill in a couple of places but all-in-all was a joy to work with.

It's darker than it looks in the photo... It was taken with flash from a distance of about 8"... BRIGHT!

Nice! I've never seen Bocote with that much creamy sap coloring. The Bocote I have is brownish with dark almost black streaks.
