These are a few of the madreperlato blanks that Ed Brown (exotic blanks) added as a bonus in the auction during the birthday bash. Turquoise on the bottom with the tube painted white, and pure white on top. Top tube was painted turquoise as well as the inside of the blank. I was pleased with the effect on the white.
Chrome Triton Rollerball really dressed it up for me.

Thanks for looking and as always, all comments are welcome~ good or bad.

Jennifer,
You did a great job. That is an amazing pen. I really like the coloring of the tubes and inside of blanks. It really made the pen quite beautiful.

Thanks all~ first time i've painted the inside of the barrel, so i was a little nervous how it would show up, not knowing how tranlucent the white would be.

Ken, the white tube on the bottoms adds just a hint of pearl to it, but a bit more than the picture is showing.

Jennifer, That is very creative and definitely beautiful !! That not only is a gorgeous pen but a fine demonstration of what difference varying the paint can do under a blank. Great job. Doc

Very nice, but I bet it looks more like this in person. :) Add a little exposure compensation (in this case, make the exposure longer to let in more light) when your the majority of your photo will be white or very light, or play with the brightness/contrast in photoshop or similar editing program when you resize.
