Bob's Blank Factory Sweet Gum Zen

I was able to get a couple of Bob Gibb's sweet gum giveaway blanks a few weeks ago. Very little shop time lately but got some last night. Finished up the black Ti Zen you see here. Back painted silver. May have looked better in chrome but either way, I'm happy. Not sure if Bob will be selling any or not. They are fun blanks to turn. Not chippy. There are some bubbles that have been mentioned previously but filling with some CA and sanding with CA helped cure that.

Great looking pen Warren !! I think the combo looks great. The chrome may have taken your eyes away from the blank itself. You may have to use the second blank with the chrome fitting to see which stands out better. Jim S
