Gold bolt action with Blue wave acrylic. Some day I will get a hang of the whole picture taking thing.

Another beautiful Blank.
Gee I am glad I don't have to judge these pens in a Competition or Exhibition
Another great Finish.

Regarding your comment "Some day I will get a hang of the whole picture taking thing"
First Thing I would try, is get a plain backdrop, e.g. A white or light grey Bed Sheet.
Place it Horizontal ontop of the Table or bench, then take the back portion and fix it to the wall.
A curve where the Vertical and Horizontal meet is fine.

I would place your Plastic stand in your Cupboard, and leave it there until after you have finished photographing.
Place the Pen parallel to the wall and focus your camera, so that all parts of the pen are sharp.
Then take your photographs.
After these initial photographs, I would then work on the lighting.
There are some excellent examples of simple to make light boxes on this sight.

Just my thoughts,
Brian.

Thanks a ton, I am glad you like my work.

as for the pictures I have been going through the forums and found a very nice light diffuser setup. Your idea will definitely be attempted. Luckily for me santa brought my wife a new camera this year snd she mentioned being my personal pen photographer
