Blue Lapis/pyrite trustone

Got another bag o'blanks last week from my good friend JohnU, and this was in the mix. This is all of a sudden my favorite tru stone! My lousy photo skills don't do it justice but its a stunner!!! Thanks John! On agold Orion RB

Is that a "natural" finish or did you do a CA on it? Seems very glossy to be bare trustone.

thats the natural finish on that one. Surprised me too! The depth is just unbelievable on this thing. Turned with carbide tool, and no dry sanding. Right to the pretty colored pads, and finished with Meguires Plastx. Matching finials coming soon! Got a nice new set of collet chucks on the way
