Finally getting around to posting some pictures.

Here's a cigar done with my take on "Worthless wood"- in this case Walnut and blue Alumilite.

I need to get better at the CA finish. Sanded too deep near the bottom- it meets at the hardware though.

Nice pen. Do you use a polish on your finish after sanding the CA? Something like HUT plastic polish put on and buffed with a soft rag with the lathe at high speed will really make it shine.

MicroMesh to 12000 is all I run. I've found that's usually as good or better than any polish.

Now if my photography would get better at bringing out the polish- that'd help a bunch.

You could fill in the dip near the nib with a few coats of thick CA and then sand it so it meets the nib. DAMHIKT
