I am starting to get some time to work on pens----yippeeeee.
Here are a couple of Barons that I have really been wanting to make.
I do my own casting-------Prickly Pear Catus---Resin----Blue.
Tubes are painted high gloss black-----kinda reflects the light back.

I like it a lot! It kind of looks like an electric blue with the cactus running through it. The cactus also looks a little different than most of the cactus pens that have been posted, giving it a unique look.

When is was hunting around for pigment I found a bunch of different prices and shades of blue. Just to be different I bought the most expensive one I could afford---$44.00 a lb.
I think it was money well spent. If you think about how many pens you can dye with a lb of pigment the cost was really very small.
