BLOWOUT...

I was wanting to turn a pen from Buckeye Burl last night and it had a BIG blowout. Well I had a fellow IAP member over and decided to show him a different fix. This is the end result. Buy the way it is always fun to show the newer guys how to figure out new ways of doing things.

To answer a couple of questions, all fill was put in with thin and medium CA. I bought the turquoise from CSUSA. Thank for all the comments. Russell

That looks cool. Sometimes when I make a buckeye burl pen I will purposefully pick at it when it is near the right size to create voids I can fill with ground tourquiese(sp). I think it is a very sharp combination. Nice save.
