The Baron is made from Buckthorn root and stabilized in Red dye. The colorful Executive is Crab Apple triple dyed Orange, then Blue, then Yellow. I'm not sure the Yellow had any effect - I'm still working on that elusive third color. And yes, the flask is real and functional and got a wee bit lighter in celebration of these two pens being boxed up and shipped out.

Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey is in the flask, which was more an opportunistic choice than a favorite. You see a bottle was needed to christen a memorial of a recently departed friend... but for heaven's sake the contents need not be sacrificed as well! This bottle of Jack was mostly empty so what didn't get consumed during a pass around the group got dumped into the flask. The whisky bottle swung against the rock had a more satisfying pop and sound than I expected. It made for a right nice ceremony. Pyrat Cask 1623 is what goes in the cask after the Jack disappears.
