Bloodwood on an antique brass bolt action

Almost stopped at 1500 grit because I liked the satin finish, but I polished it shiny. It looks a little underturned in the picture, but my fingernail can't feel it.

Seems a camera has a really hard time 'seeing' the finish, and that is why you 'see it' as under turned....

You know, I still haven't done a Bloodwood? Or one of these new Bolts? Looks like you've done both, and I can now just enjoy yours!!! Well done!
