try the same thing with brighter colors and you have the suggestion of a balloon.
I see you are getting the hang of the bent wood.

I was going to say the same thing. Considering the idea of the bubbles if for them to pop (no pun intended) go with something that really sets it apart from the wood.

I like it, but sort of agree with Eagle. The "sort of" part is because I think the photo is too dark and it might look a lot brighter in person.
