I picked up a bunch of DIW on my last trip to AZ. and a friend of mine threw in a whole bunch of this type. The way he explained it to me was that if you watered the DIW, it would grow as a whitish wood. This log was obviously watered a lot, but the grain of the whiter wood is really something to be admired. The log had a dark area running through it that was only about an inch thick, but has some great color to it. The kit is a 2 toned Sierra Elegant Beauty.

Very nice Neil. The colors go well with the kit. It's amazing how much variety there is in wood. I guess that what makes this fun, you never know what you're going to get.
