Sterling Silver Rollerball with Aromatic Red Cedar.
Finished as usual with Minwax Clear Gloss Poly with 2 protective coats of Brazilian Carnauba.
As always comments and or suggestions appreciated.

WOW! Eastern Red is one of my favorite woods for color and grain pattern. I just wish is was a little harder. That is one beautiful pen! I know that stuff's not so easy to work with.

Great work, great finish, and the pictures are nothing to sneeze at either!

Nice choice of kits to go with that. I think the round ends really help the grain flow. Not too busy either. Very nicely done.

I did not realize cedar had so much grain pattern! The sedona looks great, and your finish is very nice.

Now I'm all excited, I have a couple of cedar bowl blanks waiting to be turned :D

Amazing finish, I have done a couple things in Eastern Red Cedar and love all of them except the bowl that shattered on me. I will do another bowl with this though and next time I will try a waste block instead of a mortice.
