Or so it said on the blank. I'm thinking it may be spalted Persimmon. What ever it is, I like it! On Black TN SL, CA finish then Ren Wax as usual.

I really like it and also think it is probably persimmon or maybe some other type of ebony. Black and white ebony is almost strange in how black and white it really is.
