Well, This will make my 3 pen that I have made. This is another Black Walnut Silver Slimline. The photo does not due it justice, there are hues that look like the wood was embeded with gold. It is just awesome, wish my photography ability was 1/2 as good as my turning (oh, wait, I think it is and that is the problem.

Looks GOOD. I saw this wood on the mandrel and he is right, it shimmers nicely. Have you made up your mind if you are keeping this one or giving it to the guy at work?

I love walnut, it makes great turnings. Crotch figure and compression rings make for beautiful pens. I do have to say I like the silver vs the normal gold. It adds to the deep hues of the walnut. Nice pen.
