Here they are side by side----I still like the brass tube better than the black one.

I like these Gary. Are they in resin of any kind? Or strictly glued together?

They're both pretty nice, but I agree that the brass tube looks is a little nicer to me. The black tube make's it look busier, at least in the picture.

Gary...can I just assume that you mixed in the (for lack of a better word) "fibers" into the resin before pouring? That is such a cool pen.

I think that they both have a place. The one with the black tube would look good with a copper or Black TN kit. While the brass tube is obviously the choice for a gold plating.

Just my 2 cents.

They are definitely some nice pens, and some great craftsmanship.

Gary,
What does "the good stuff from Art Supply" mean? Is it polyester resin or some other kind? Just wondering. Is Art Supply the same as Artstuf.com aka Douglas and Sturgess Art Supply? Thanks.
Do a good turn daily!

Tuff choice.....they both look good. Well done ! [:)]

I think he meant Artstuf, I don't think Gary likes the Mr. Fiberglass and neither do I.

Don your right ---I buy my resin from Douglas and Sturgess.
I know it cost a bunch more but I really like it way it turns. After reading everything Curtis has said about what he is useing I may buy from them next---it's only a few dollar more. Shipping kills me from Douglas and Sturgess.
