This black with gold martrix Trustone was the hardest stuff I have ever turned, but I think it was worth it. I probably would not have tried it except a family member requested it.

Shine looks even, fit looks proper and you should probably just send it to me. Lol! Tried true stone once...not a happy experience. Looks like you nailed it though!

That is a very elegant looking pen! I love the look of the black with gold matrix TruStone. It can be challenging, but the results are worth it.

It is hard, the only one I've found to be harder is the purple colored Charoite, which prompted me to go get my first carbide tipped turning tool.
