Today's pen is a Black Titanium Comfort pen in Black Peacock Inlace Acrylester. I also finished stabilizing some pine cones, cypress knees, and spalted tamarind blanks using Cactus Juice. My vacuum system was a one quart Mason jar and a HF Brake Bleeder and Vacuum Pump. Worked like a charm! Guess a new pine cone pen will be added to my "To Turn" list.

I would have thought Cypress knees to be turn-able without stabilizing? Are they that soft??(I ask because it's frown upon by local folks with conservation badges to harvest cypress knees around here-at least that's what I was told)

Let us know how those turn out when you get around 'tuit'!
