Until last night, Black Palm was always my undoing. I figured out what was wrong with the Princeton I asked about in another thread. The ends of the barrel of the pen were't properly squared. I managed to get the pen apart and the Princeton is now dressed in Black Palm. This will be my new carry pen.

Great job David! Is that a ca finish and how many coats did it take?

That is CA. 6 coats, then micromesh, then polish. I don't normally put anything other than wax on my wood pens but since black palm is so porous I decided it would be better to have it on there. Also with this style pen you are not gripping the finish, as you would on a slim line.
