Hi All,

Here one hot off the lathe, I really enjoy working with Ebonite, this one is Black and Gold and is 5/8 round 7 1/2 long capped and has a SS Nib, polished to 12 K with Micro-Mesh.

All comments are welcome and hope everyone had a nice 4th.

Wow! I'm just heading down this road and am really impressed with what you have put into this pen. What does it take to make your threads? Also, does posting it cause any scratching on the pen? With the ebonite, are you able to get rid of the rubber smell, or is this expected for those who know the substance? Very well done!

Hi Eric,

It takes a metal lathe to do the threads, the outside and cap threads are Triple Lead Threads 1/2 36 TPI, Ebonite is very durable and does not scratch easily, the rubber smell goes some what away after awhile.
