Black and Gold, CB just didn't work.

Made this one a few minutes ago. The long story is: I made a gorgeous gold and black centerband for a cedar pen. The cedar failed. I made this pen to go around it. Turns out, it's a totally different shade of gold. Didn't match, and fortunately this pen works more than well enough without a centerband. Blank was, again courtesy of Brooks803's box of cutoffs and "oopses"

I would put a thin gold ring in the center. But what do I know. It is a beautiful pen and will do well as it sets.
