Black Cigar Pen

Here's a Black Cigar pen made from blanks I glued up and then cut down at a 45 degree angle yesterday. In each blank there are 4 slices of Cherry, Two slices of Walnut, the top two "lighter woods" are of White Oak and the bottom two lighter wood slices are be a slightly spalted hard Maple. Some blanks are located under the pen as a prop.

I tried something very similar but using pine for the PITH....they kept cracking on me.

I've done that with Bloodwood, yellowheart, purpleheart and Maple.

A follow-up to these blanks/pens above, all of them sold as of yesterday in the form of cigar pens. A total of ten of these blanks made and turned into cigar pens.
