Black Cherry Slimline

So....really kinda enjoying this slimline mod thing. I think I have about 50 kits. I'm definitely not up for making that many right now but I definitely might make 20 or so just to fill up another case.

This was a self pour that I did at a woodturner's guild demo. It is a macro pearl and deep russet. I let the pearl get too thick and it was very jelled when I poured it. I was afraid that I would have some huge voids but I only filled two tiny holes. Blank and tubes were painted gloss black making the pearl really dark.

Not as happy with the finial on this one and I got really thin at the joint but the depth in the blank is amazing.

Very nice slimline, colors look great, but i'm alittle partial too the red color myself.
Like the finial also, done a good job with it. How hard was to turn something that small, and is it pressed in?
