Black Cherry Burl

This blank had the most voids in it so I tried it on a slimline. I didn't think it would hold together but it did. Untill I pushed the trans in too far. Trying to get it out I chipped it below the cb. After dropping the chip twice I lost it for good. I filled it with SG and coffee. BLO and mylands FP.

Great job on the pen. Cherry is a wonderful wood! So does it smell like cherries or coffee?
