Black Ash Burl (Stabilized)

Here is a Stabilized Black Ash Burl "New Series" pen.

It was my first CA finish and also the first stabilized blank I have turned.

I will post a snakewood after this (which of course will put it before this in the forum...)

Great match up!! It could be a shadow or my glasses, but it looks like an overlap between the barrel tube and the centerband. You did a great job on that finish, first one or not!!

Beaut Pen I rise to support your recessing the centre band I do it continuously, why because I love Centre Bands and sometimes a timber demands an increase in Pen size as well I make pens my way congrats to you as well. Frank Sinatra you and me.

My yard stick for appearances etc with pens are non pen makers the majority in this world, I include grain matching in this statement as well as colour use , size, display.

You created a marvellous pen and I salute you.
