Black Ash Burl

On an Antique Brass Bolt Action. Finished with 6 coats of Clear Gloss MINWAX WBOM Polyurethane that I knocked down with extra fine steel wool to get a mat finish to try and match the Antique brass.
What do you think?

Nice finishing job. Black ash burl can have smallter outs thus making for a tedious finishing process.

Nice job, Les. I like the fact that you dulled down the finish a bit to provide a consistent look on the entire pen. Going for the super glossy finish would have been a distraction instead of the seamless flow you created.
