Part of one of my free wood hauls. This is my second classic. I decided to give it a little shape instead of straight tubes. Dry sanded to 12k MM, sanding sealer, 6 coats of CA then re-sanded to 12k MM, 1 turn of EEE then buffed with a pair of flannel boxers, not while being worn. Comments and advice welcomed.

Good looking pen. Nice job and glad you were not wearing the flannel boxers when buffing the pen. I have always liked the birdseye maple, but like steve says it just does not move well. Except for one time when a customer ordered 12 of them for his employees.

When you give them away, it's hard for someone to get all picky. Shame about them not selling well, the iridescence of the wood is incredible.
