Birdseye Maple with Black Celtic knot

Made this one up today.Its a Gold Slim with Birdseye Maple and a black Celtic.The inlay material is some kydex that I had laying and was the same thickness as my saw kerf.This is only second attempt at a Celtic knot.I think it turned out pretty good.I gotta gets some more kits these slims are getting old.

Nice looking pen, you did a great job on the celtic knot, I can't see many eyes in the birdseye maple though, is it just the picture?

Yes its just the picture.They are taken with a cell phone and it doesn't pick up the detail very well.
