Default Big Olivewood

One of the Pretty Wood contest winners used this kit for 2nd place. I was so impressed I wanted a pen using that kit. Found out that CSUSA sold the Artisian Deco kit, but has discontinued it. They had the remaining kits on sale so I got several. I turned one in Bocote, but it just didn't pop. The 2nd one I turned using Olivewood. Sure wish they had not discontinued it. Favorable comments make my chest stick out and constructive criticism makes me work harder.

Patrick,
I want everyone to know your beautiful pen was the reason for my turning the Artisan Deco.
You still have me beat, but I’m going to keep trying.

Beautiful pen Ben. The Professor/Exemplar has a similar style. Almost all of our suppliers have them. I have only seen then in antique bronze and antique silver (not chrome). I like them because they use a 23/64 tube and the long barrel has plenty of "meet" on the them. They are similar, but not the same. I am actually mailing out two today. https://www.exoticblanks.com/Exempla...ue-Silver.html

Wow! to that Deco pen. Excellent work.
And to Tony, thanks for the link to Exotic Blanks - the Antique Silver finish looks good.

Exotic Blanks sells that kit.

I too like the longer blank, shows off the beautiful wood. I'm not crazy about the ridge on the transition from the body to the front section though.
