Hi Everyone,
It's been awhile since I have done anything, I kinda lost interest since my Buddy John passed away. Any way I was commissioned to make this for a Young man who loves Cigars, whose birthday is in July. The kit I used is a Big Ben Roller Ball that I got from Ed at exotic blanks. The wood is unknown, it was given to me and was kinda of punky and had to be stabilized. I chose it because of the spalting. The ash is made from epoxy chips from Home-depot cast in Alumilite. The band has been clear coated with Krylon crystal clear and attached with CA. The finish is CA, but I just applied it and did not sand and polish because I was trying to give it some texture.
As always thanks for looking, any comments welcome.
