Don't feel bad i messed a cigar pen up today putting it together .nib on wrong barrel.

I mark the nib bushing in the part that goes in the tube. ThAt usually keeps me in good shape to get the rest right.

I think the cigar pen hardware is one of the best. Leaves the wood fairly thick on the tube and the pen itself is just nice to look at. You did a great job with this one. Your proportions are just right, fit is really good as far as this image shows. Nice job..

I like to put one of those 'exploded drawings' with the dimension(I use a mic instead of bushings-TBC) in front of me...sort of a reminder.


That is some interesting timber for Sycamore...looks 'lacy'! Finish is nicely done too!!!!
