took a better photo and now you can see the terrific burl.. all comments. This is a lot better than yesterdays photo........... finish is 4 coats of thin ca. follow by mm and then 4 coats of blo/ca what do you all think of the finish?

Sure is pretty, hope all is well David. I am still still trying the different CA approaches, but as a minimum, it puts a good base on the open grained wood..but your wood sure is pretty.

I have been working to improve my CA finish so I can outdo my buddy SGM retired in your part of the woods. wet MM through the grits and a secret at the end.........will show next meeting if we can get all together again at Redstoneal for the meal I hear I mist out on........
