Here is the second of the Bespoke pens for the moderator on FPN. This one turned out really cool because there was so much of the swirl left in the blank. A lot of times a lot of the disappears, so it was nice to see so much left. This one is another clipless in Rose Swirl Lucite with a #6 Broad Meisternib. Sorry about all the dust. This thing was literally a dust magnet

Thanks again Bree!!

Wow very nice pen. Really like that blank.

Thank You!!!

I love it. Very cool looking blank. Great work.

Thanks!!

how does turning the lucite compare to ebonite? Never turned either one I dont think. Just trying to learn as you go along.

Phil

Lucite to me is one of the best materials to turn. It turns well and threads extremely easy. Ebonite is great as well and is one of my favorite materials to make a pen from, but you have to be careful with Ebonite not to heat it up or you will cause little bubbles to form and they will ruin your pen. You just have to take your time and go really slow:biggrin: To me Lucite is the best material to start making component-less pens.
