Default Beginner Turner

Just beginning this hobby, it is a lot of fun and this forum looks to have a wealth of information.
Attached are a couple of my pens, looks like I definitely need to improve on my camera work!

Careful, this hobby or craft is highly addictive. To my knowledge there is no working 12 step program to get you out of it. Enjoy the ride and only pay attention to helpful comments, really nice and smart people here.

Welcome to the IAP from Minnesota.

Your pens look wonderful. Be sure to enter some of the contests next month for the BASH. Great way to compare your works against others.

Welcome. What kit did you use for the pen on the left? That is nice!

Nice work and welcome, Jesse. You might find it fun to try a variation of these kits by doing them as single barrel pens. There is a nice tutorial by Don Ward in the forum library.

Nice pens and welcome to the club.
John, that's a designer series pen and my favorite style. There's two types, one with a tenon (Euro style) and one without a tenon. Fun pen to make and my most requested after the comfort pen.

Nice pens! The Designer also has a letter opener companion that makes for a good, inexpensive set. PSI's rosewood Pen / LO box is a good fit for them.
