Those are some CLEAN looking pens! The finishes are fantastic! I love the Charoite. That pic threw me for a loop at first. I was wondering how you incorporated trustone into the cap until I realized it was just a reflection. HAHA.

I've had some Banded Malachite for awhile, just dont know what to put it on and just recentally got some sodalite. Nice to see how great they look turned. Thanks for showing

Just turned some myself last night. Th charoite is the hardest of the bunch but worth it, beautiful stuf.

Finish on these is simple. Sand to 600 grit. Wet sand with micromesh to 12000. Done.

Lower grades I sand the length of the blank with the power off and clean with a rag before moving to the next grade. once I hit about 4000 I don't bother with sanding the length any longer.

Since I actually turned these about a month or so ago, I don't recall if I used my 3M rubbing compound or not.

Thanks for the Kudos guys. a Couple of these will be going to a regional store's headquarters to try and get me a wholesale contract.
