This is the most beautiful piece of olive wood I have come across. It is on an stainless steel eagle kit. It was fun seeing the knots come out as i was turning.

That is indeed a beautiful blank, knots on Olive wood are quite rare and most people, don't want blanks with any knots, I would say that, I may accept that but I certainly don't agree with those people, I nice turned know, such as yours, becomes the main focus of the pen and certainly, a great conversation subject...!

I keep coming back to look at this one. Just like looking at it. Has a calming sort of appeal to it.

Love it. I do not know about others, but the few items I have sold people have paid more for items with knots in them than without. To me knots adds uniqueness and character.

You'd think the people that cut this stuff would know that, except maybe in the Middle East where a lot of this originates. I know there is a lot of it in Utah.
