Love that wood! We had our AAW chapter meeting and there was a box with that wood as the lid.
Due to the lack of interest, tomorrow will be cancelled.

That is a beautiful pen.

What kind of clip is that, and how is the clip attached? I have been looking around for high-end clips and coming up short.

In looking at the pen, it appears that you used a plastic of some type to make the parts that are threaded. Is that correct?

A great pen with a perfect match between wood and acrylic.
But aren't you afraid that, with time, the red wood will turn brownish, and the plastic will stay red?
Kit less, create more.

Spectacular Pen Lauren.
Magnificent Flame Box Elder Blank,
Excellent Profile, and Proportions,
Beautiful Turning of the Section, and Finial
Turn that special piece of Timber you have been keeping.
Enjoy it for its true beauty.
Why leave it for others to enjoy without you?

I second every comment that Brian made!
That's amazing and inspiring! I have wanted to make a hybrid pen like that and wondered what it should look like. That pen of yours ended the wondering part. Jeff picked a great pen!
