The opportunities the slimline kits give to play with colors and shapes and custom center bands have proven irresistible, and after watching YoyoSpin's video clips I had to try out beads and coves. Great fun!
Amboyna burl, dyed BEB, a cool two-tone poplar and an acrylic. Comments welcome!

Guess that you're gonna be the "Termite Bead Queen"![:D][;)]

By the way do they close the shop during the day so you hafta go to the "office"?

I was going to identify my favorite, but when I went over them I couldn't decide. Want to do a beading demo next month?

Thanks for the comments. These are fun to make!

Rob, yes, I'm using a skew. I've got a set of Fred's beading tools but still need to turn a handle for them so haven't tried them yet. The skew works great although for some reason it doesn't seem to produce perfect, even beads at the speed of heat like in YoyoSpin's video. Mine take a while. Not sure why - maybe he's using a high speed skew. [;)][}:)]

Eileen,

I am not into beads but you sure did an awesome job on these. I bet I cannot make anything even close if I tried. Good job!
