This pen was made for the family of a nephew that died suddenly from a blood clot. It is a EPR(YOYO Spin) blank that Ed made for me on a black chrome cigar kit. One thing I learned turning this blank is that I really need a buffing system. I used auto buffing compound and swirl remover and still had scratches. There is a buffing system in my future.

Tom, that is a beauty.

Anyone who wants to try turning plastics should consider buying the Beall buffing system. After a #600 grit wet-sand, there will be tons of tiny scratches left on the blank, all of which can be easily removed with Tripoli, the first Beall buff compound.

Thats great Tom. So sorry to hear about your nephew, but what a marvelous way to remember him. I would sure like to see all 13 of them in one picture, maybe in your album. That would sure be a striking photo. Something about the black on black appeals to me.
