A couple of chrome plated Barrons turned earlier this year.

A chrome plated Baron Rollerball pen made with Snakewood, finished with CA and polished with Huts, Ultra Gloss ...

A Chrome plated Barron using Amboyna burl with a Celtic Cross in the top barrel. The material used for the Celtic Cross is black plastic and a Coca Cola can, finised with friction polish and lightly waxed.

Both pens came out real well. I like the knot. It really stands out with that timber. Very accurately cut as well. The snakewood came out well also and hopefully it will stand the test of time. It seems people who have used that timber had problems with cracking in the past. Both pens as mentioned look really good and should have proud owners. Thanks for showing.

Maybe you would like to come over to the segmenting forum and post your Celtic knot pen and give us a brief look into how you went about doing it and what tools you used. Maybe a photo or 2 of your setup. We are trying to build some sort of archieves about different segmenting work over there and this is a good example of fine craftsmanship.

Thanks again for showing.
